Mississippi Wedding Venue Sparks Outrage After Refusing Interracial Couple

A property hosting wedding parties in the southern United States has opposed hosting the union of a black man and a white woman. The reason is simple: the establishment does not tolerate homosexual and interracial marriages.
While the newlyweds had already agreed several days earlier with the managers of the Boone’s camp event hall in Mississippi, they received an email in which they were refused on the grounds of "religious beliefs".
The facts were mentioned in a video that went viral on the web, with Internet users criticizing the fact that racism is still rampant in a country where interracial marriage has been legalized for more than 50 years. Indeed, it has been more than 50 years since the Supreme Court legalized interracial marriage across the United States.
The woman implicated in the video apologized on her Facebook page, which has since become unavailable, according to Le muslim post.
According to the same source, in 2016, Mississippi authorized merchants to refuse, for religious reasons, to participate in the marriages of homosexuals or transgender people.
