Missing Teen Case: Two Suspects Arrested in Sihem Belouahmia Kidnapping Investigation

The investigation into the disappearance of Sihem Belouahmia, a young woman of 18 years old, is progressing. Two individuals have already been arrested and placed in custody. The kidnapping trail is favored.
Has Sihem Belouahmia been kidnapped? On Sunday, the Prosecutor of the Republic of Alès, François Schneider, opened a procedure for kidnapping and sequestration. This makes it possible to deploy additional investigative resources. The opening of this procedure follows the arrest of Mahfoud H., a 39-year-old man and his ex-girlfriend. The gendarmes of the research section of Nîmes placed the two suspects in custody.
Known to the justice system, the almost forty-year-old had been sentenced in 2015 to 12 years in prison, with two other accomplices, for a series of organized gang thefts and armed robberies in the Alès region in 2012. He was to be tried this Wednesday, February 1, for a case of home sequestration dating back to 2011 before the Gard Assize Court. The suspect would be the last person to have seen Sihem. She would have fallen in love or under the influence of the man with the "bad boy" profile with whom she got into a car on January 25 and has not given any sign of life since, reports Le Parisien.
For now, the investigators are continuing their investigations to find out what happened just after.
