Mélenchon Praises Morocco’s COVID-19 Response, Urges France to Follow Suit

The president of "La France Insoumise" once again praises Morocco, whose management of the covid-19 crisis that is raging in almost all countries in the world, he salutes. Speaking on Tuesday, April 28 in the National Assembly, during the debate on the deconfinement scheduled for May 11, Jean-Luc Mélenchon invites France to follow the example of Morocco.
Jean-Luc Mélenchon criticized the "disastrous management" of the covid-19 pandemic in France. The president of La France Insoumise then invited France to follow the example of Morocco. "[...] We should imitate it in this area," he hammered.
"Morocco, it’s very good. It’s my country of birth and it deserves your admiration," replied the president of the "La France Insoumise" parliamentary group to one of the deputies, stunned that he had cited the kingdom as one of the countries that are managing the health crisis in a remarkable and salutary way.
On April 19, the leader of the Insoumis had already called on France to follow Morocco’s example in terms of mask production and sales. "France has gone from 4 to 8 million masks produced per week in 3 months and the Prime Minister, [Édouard Philippe], is boasting! Morocco produces 21 million per week!" he had tweeted.
