Marvel’s ’Blade’ Reboot to Film in Morocco, Starring Mahershala Ali

Filming of the film "Blade" will start next October and a large part will be shot in Morocco. Its release is scheduled for November 3, 2023.

"Blade" tells the story of a vampire hunter. The role, played by Wesly Snipes in the previous films, will this time be played by Mahershala Ali (Green Book, Moonlight). The announcement of the film was made three years ago, but production was delayed by the Covid-19 health crisis.

Filming should take place in Morocco, Ohio, New Orleans, Cleveland and the Tyler Perry studios in Atlanta. Several renowned actors such as Delroy Lindo (Malcolm X), Aaron Pierre (Old) will participate in this new "Blade" production.
