Marseille Soccer Star Adil Rami Faces Club Discipline Amid Domestic Violence Allegations

Adil Rami, World Champion in 2018, was absent from OM’s training sessions on Monday, July 1, 2019. His Club has initiated disciplinary proceedings against him. The reasons for this are even prior to the various problems he has just experienced with the Canadian actress and model, Pamela Anderson. She called him a "monster" and accused him of deception and serious domestic violence.

This procedure dates back, according to the newspaper Le Parisien, to mid-June. Adil Rami should soon meet with the Club’s management for an interview. The same media specifies that it is because of a training session he would have missed to shoot an episode of "Fort Boyard".

Indeed, Le Parisien writes: "He would be accused of having missed a training session on May 20, the date on which he recorded an episode of ’Fort Boyard’. According to various sources, he had discussed it with his coach, Rudi Garcia (since replaced by André Villas Boas) but not with his management".

It should be noted that Rami’s contract still runs for 2 years, for a monthly compensation of 300,000€. Is the Club trying to get rid of him?
