Marrakech: Opulence and discretion for the wedding of Trump donor’s daughter
American businessman Eliezer Scheiner celebrated the wedding of his daughter in Marrakech over three days of festivities. The event brought together influential personalities, including the royal advisor Fouad Ali El Himma.
The ochre city hosted this week the union of Eliezer "Lou" Scheiner’s daughter, a prominent American businessman and major donor to Donald Trump’s campaigns, reports Rue20. The celebrations, spread over three days from Monday to Wednesday, were marked by the presence of royal advisor Fouad Ali El Himma during the official ceremony held on Tuesday at the El Badi Palace.
The event, described as "legendary" by several sources, brought together a select elite from the Moroccan and American political, economic and artistic spheres. After the opulence of the historic site, the festivities ended on Wednesday evening in an exclusive tourist residence in the Palmeraie.
Moroccan culture occupied a central place during these nuptials, with many foreign guests wearing traditional attire, particularly caftans for the women. A premium service was even deployed at the heart of the El Badi Palace for the occasion, while fireworks displays and custom entertainment punctuated the evenings.
Keen to preserve the intimacy of this gathering described as "very private", the family imposed a strict media blackout, prohibiting any photography by the guests.
