Marrakech Hotels Prepare for Eid al-Adha Tourism Surge

The classified hotels in the city of Marrakech are preparing to welcome national tourists who have booked rooms for this weekend to celebrate Eid al-Adha in peace, away from the festive and noisy atmosphere of the popular neighborhoods.
Every year, many wealthy or middle-income Moroccan families flock to the city of Marrakech to escape the din noted in the popular neighborhoods on the occasion of the celebration of the Feast of Sacrifice. More and more families prefer to spend the Eid al-Adha weekend in the calm of the classified hotels in the ochre city.
To satisfy these particular clients, the classified hotels in Marrakech offer them affordable prices, ranging from 700 to 2,000 dirhams per night for a room that can accommodate a couple and two children, including all meals and various services offered.
"Hotels offer opportunities for families who want to practice the Eid tradition in a different way, with new services, including the purchase of the Eid sacrifice for the client and its slaughter," explains Saïd Tahiri, manager of classified hotels in Marrakech, to Alayam24.
The tourism expert specifies that "in recent years, the atmosphere of Eid has evolved from the popular neighborhoods to the hotels, especially in Marrakech," adding that "hotels have started to offer excellent tourist offers for Moroccans in order to stimulate domestic tourism in certain cities, including Marrakech, Agadir, Tangier and Saïdia."
