Marrakech Hospital Refutes Claims of Inadequate COVID-19 Protections for Staff

The staff of the subcontractor company in charge of transporting patients from the Mohammed VI University Hospital Center (CHU) in Marrakech would be working without any preventive and protective measures. The CHU denied these "erroneous" and "unofficial" information circulated by some media on Monday.
The Management of the Marrakech CHU stated that this Hospital Center "provides the necessary prevention means to all employees of the subcontractor companies, particularly those in charge of cleaning, security and transport of suspected or confirmed cases of contamination by the new coronavirus (covid-19) and people who died as a result of this pandemic". It also stressed that "the prevention equipment distributed to employees is recorded in a special register".
All employees in charge of transporting patients with covid-19 have received training to have more in-depth knowledge of the pandemic. Moreover, they have benefited from another special training on the use of prevention equipment, including the rest of the employees operating under subcontracting, each according to their duties and field of intervention, noted the Management of the Mohammed VI CHU in Marrakech.
