Mandatory Asset Declaration Renewal Begins for French Officials and Civil Servants

The Court of Auditors has announced that as of February 1, those subject to the mandatory asset declaration must update their declarations by renewing them.
This is an operation required every three years and which concerns civil servants of the State, public institutions and local authorities, according to a press release from the Court of Auditors.
The campaign will continue throughout this month, in accordance with the law on the mandatory declaration of assets for certain elected members of municipal councils, professional chambers and certain categories of civil servants or public officials, it specified.
To this end, these persons subject to the obligation are invited to consult the official website of the Court of Auditors in order to file their asset declaration according to the procedures and conditions set by law and explained on the platform.
Furthermore, the Court invites the persons concerned to ensure beforehand that their names appear on the lists of persons subject to the mandatory asset declaration with the person responsible for monitoring these lists, designated by the competent government authority.
