Man Sets Himself on Fire in Southern Morocco, Hospitalized with Burns

An investigation has been opened by the judicial police of Tan-Tan, in southern Morocco, following the self-immolation of a man on the public highway.
In a press release, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicates that this man sprinkled himself with gasoline around 4:30 a.m. for reasons that are still unknown. He took refuge, it is specified, in the security district where police officers managed to extinguish the fire and transfer him to the hospital.
Presenting burns to the upper limbs of his face, he was placed in intensive care, pending the improvement of his condition to investigate his self-immolation.
According to the DGSN, witnesses and relatives will be questioned as part of the investigation.
