Macron’s Morocco Trip Delayed to March Amid Scheduling Conflicts

Initially scheduled for February 12 and 13, the visit of the French President, Emmanuel Macron, to Morocco, has been postponed to next March. The reason is scheduling constraints.
Emmanuel Macron will not go to Morocco as planned. The visit of the French president has been postponed due to his schedule, confides a source close to the matter, adding that it could take place next March.
Last December, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Secretary of State to the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, had announced this visit by the French president during the 14th France-Morocco High-Level Meeting.
Bilateral relations between the two countries will be on the agenda of the discussions between Emmanuel Macron and King Mohammed VI. The project of a high-speed line (LGV) between Casablanca and Marrakech could also be announced during this visit.
