Lille Prodigy Ayoub Bouaddi Opts to Represent Morocco Over France

The young Lille prodigy, Ayoub Bouaddi, would have chosen to wear the jersey of the Atlas Lions over that of France.
The player is said to have informed the Moroccan coach, Walid Regragui, of his decision. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation is said to be taking the necessary steps to officially formalize the change of the young player’s sporting nationality.
At only 17 years old, Ayoub Bouaddi is already attracting the attention of the biggest European clubs. His performances in the Champions League have particularly impressed the recruiters of Arsenal, who see him as a potential successor to the Manchester City star, Gündoğan. Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona would also be in the running to secure the services of the young talent.
Faced with this interest, the Lille club has no choice but to offer the Moroccan player a new contract.
