Lebanon Denies Entry to Moroccan Journalist Over Israel Travel History

Moroccan journalist Nora Fouari was not allowed to enter Lebanon, the authorities accusing her of having previously stayed in Israel.
Fouari expressed her dismay in a message posted on her Facebook account, confiding that she had undergone a long police interrogation before being sent back to Istanbul where she will find herself in the company of "clandestines" and people who have "falsified" entry visas.
The journalist’s mistake was to leave an Israeli sticker on her passport and not remove it when entering Lebanon, she says, recalling that the Israeli authorities do not stamp passports to avoid precisely that they be turned away by certain Arab countries.
In her message, the journalist from the daily Assabah also indicates that she has visited several other Arab countries without being bothered by the local authorities.
It should be noted that Nora Fouari had already written in the past articles on Lebanon, including one on nightclubs. Perhaps this is the reason for this refusal?
