Kuwaiti Tourists and Moroccan Women Arrested in Marrakech for Public Disturbance

Four Kuwaiti nationals were arrested on Wednesday in the Gueliz district of Marrakech, for threatening security and public order. Heavily intoxicated, the Khalijis were accompanied by 4 young Moroccan women.
A patrol of the motorcycle brigade, operating in the Marrakech police prefecture, intervened on Wednesday evening to put an end to the commotion caused by 4 Kuwaitis on the public highway.
Arrested for public drunkenness, disturbing public order and non-compliance with barrier gestures, the Khalijis and the 4 Moroccan women were taken to the Gueliz police station.
On the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the 4 couples were placed in custody pending the investigation, before being brought before the courts.
