King Mohammed VI Orders Removal of Billboards in Casablanca Cleanup

The authorities of the city of Casablanca have just had a sleepless night, following a royal outburst. During his visit to the city, King Mohammed VI would not have appreciated that the urban landscape be disfigured by advertising billboards.
According to the daily Assabah, a new royal anger would be at the origin of a major movement of the city’s authorities, during the night of Saturday, October 5 to Sunday, October 6.
The administrative police of the various districts of Casablanca mobilized a large part of its staff and its vehicle fleet to remove the hundreds of advertising billboards positioned in a random manner.
Suspended from lampposts or in frames along the boulevards and alleys of the city, the posters do not really respect the safety measures and tarnish the beauty of Casablanca.
The newspaper adds that the officials of the Wilaya of the Casa-Settat region and the Urban Commune spent the whole night freeing the city from the anarchy of the advertising billboards.
