King Mohammed VI Mourns Passing of Moroccan Resistance Fighter Colonel Cherif Dlimi

King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolence and compassion to the family of Colonel Major Cherif Dlimi. He passed away on Sunday, November 1st in Rabat after a Coronavirus infection. The deceased was buried in his hometown of Dakhla.
In his message, the king states that he learned with deep sorrow of the death of the resistance fighter, Colonel Major Cherif Dlimi. He implores the Almighty to grant him His holy mercy and to welcome him into His vast paradise. The Sovereign also presented to the members of the deceased’s family and to the Oulad Dlim tribe and his friends, his heartfelt condolences and sincere compassion following the disappearance of a fervent patriot who was at the forefront of the resistance in the southern provinces.
He highlighted the many sacrifices made by the latter for the freedom and independence and the completion of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom. The king did not forget the unwavering loyalty of Colonel Major Cherif Dlimi to the Alaouite Throne and his strong attachment to the constants and sacred values of the Nation.
While recalling the great human qualities of the deceased, his integrity and the competence he had shown in the various missions entrusted to him. Mohammed VI implores the Most High to amply reward the latter for the laudable services rendered to his homeland and his king, and to grant him His clemency and holy mercy.
