King Mohammed VI Expected to Visit Tetouan for Laylat Al Qadr Mosque Inauguration

The king is expected to visit Tetouan in the coming days to inaugurate a mosque during Laylat al-Qadr. The authorities would be in a state of excitement.
The authorities in Tetouan would currently be busy to ensure that the upcoming visit of King Mohammed VI goes smoothly, according to several media sources, including Al Ahdath Al Maghribiya and the Goud website.
Mohammed VI is expected to inaugurate the Sidi Talha mosque there and preside over a religious vigil on the occasion of Laylat Al Qadr.
According to Al Ahdath Al Maghribia, Mohamed Mhidia, the wali of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region (as well as senior officials from Rabat), visited the said mosque to check on the progress of the work so that everything is ready for the sovereign’s arrival.
At the same time, the authorities in Tetouan are busy beautifying the city and installing flags and portraits of the king on the main streets for the planned visit.
Goud, for its part, explains that the mosque has already been opened for prayer and that the inauguration concerns rather the whole mosque and its services, including a Quranic school, a religious library and a training center for imams.
