King Mohammed VI to Address Nation on 20th Anniversary of Throne Accession

"The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announces that on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist and preserve Him, to the Throne of His glorious ancestors", the Sovereign will address his people, indicates a press release published on the MAP.

"The Throne speech will be broadcast on radio and television on Monday, July 29, 2019, starting at 9:00 PM," it is specified.

Note that last year, the Sovereign had delivered his speech from the city of Al Hoceima, the scene, a few years earlier, of demonstrations calling for more social justice, in the Rif region, and, more generally, in the country.
