King Mohammed V’s Rare Ferrari GT 250 Fetches $1.65 Million at Auction

The Ferrari GT 250 of King Mohammed V was auctioned off last weekend, during the 2023 Monterey Car Week held on the west coast of California. How much was this iconic car sold for?
Auctioned by RM Sotheby’s, the Ferrari GT 250 Coupé Spéciale of the former King of Morocco was sold for $1,655,000, reports Tork. This unique piece (the last remaining example of this model) is currently in poor condition and will need to be completely restored by its new owner.
This blue-black car was purchased by King Mohammed V in August 1956. The monarch used it for six years before handing it over in 1962 to Ben Pace, a Florida collector who in turn resold it to a certain Walter Medlin in 1974.
