Kerosene: Why Morocco is not afraid of the crisis in the Middle East despite soaring prices!
Despite the geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics assures that the supply of kerosene remains stable. The authorities rule out any exceptional measures for air and maritime navigation in the Kingdom.
The current tensions in the global energy markets have not led to major disruptions for Morocco. According to official sources from the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, the supply chains are functioning normally. No emergency system has been activated for air or maritime navigation, with the authorities emphasizing the regularity of domestic transport services.

The situation of aviation fuel is considered satisfactory. The Kingdom has sufficient kerosene stocks, supported by a comfortable strategic reserve. At the same time, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is limiting the impact of the crisis. While the sector is suffering from global price increases, an internal source at the company cited by Hespress states that the financial losses due to the suspension of certain routes to the Middle East are not "significant" for the moment.
This stability contrasts with the situation last February. At the time, unfavorable weather conditions had blocked ship access to the port of Jorf Lasfar, delaying the unloading of 35,000 tons of fuel. As a precautionary measure, the National Airports Office (ONDA) had then asked short and medium-haul flights from Europe to arrive with full tanks to save local resources.

Although the blockage of the Strait of Ormuz is fueling international concern, the national monitoring system remains operational. The authorities maintain heightened vigilance to respond to fluctuations in energy markets. For now, technical and administrative interventions remain unchanged, confirming the resilience of Moroccan logistics in the face of an uncertain geopolitical context in the region.
