Kenitra Residents Petition Mayor as Stray Dog Population Surges, Raising Safety Concerns

The residents of Kenitra have had enough of stray dogs. In a petition addressed to their mayor, they denounce the poor management of animals in the city and the silence of the other competent authorities.
For a few months now, the president of the Municipal Council of the city of Kenitra has been criticized for his poor management of stray dogs that continue to multiply in the streets of the city. Thus, the inhabitants have sent a request to Aziz Rebbah, denouncing the situation and the silence of the authorities, reports Al Akhbar, stressing that these dogs are increasingly numerous in Kenitra.
These dogs currently constitute a threat, especially for children and for citizens in general, who are bothered by their barking, not to mention the attacks they sometimes suffer. Residents are also unhappy to see Kenitra turning into a countryside, with the multiplication of livestock, sheep, and horses in the streets of the city.
And yet, the president of the Municipal Council, Aziz Rabbah, had promised to transform Kenitra. Thus, faced with the silence of the authorities despite the many calls made by the population, the latter has just launched a new petition in the hope of a quick solution to this scourge.
