Israeli Hotel Giant Fattal Group Plans Major Expansion into Morocco’s Tourism Market

Fattal Hotel Group, one of the major Israeli hotel groups, is about to set up in Morocco. Since the resumption of diplomatic relations, cooperation between the two countries is strengthening day by day, in key sectors such as tourism, agriculture and many others.
Fattal Hotel Group, one of the major Israeli hotel groups, has set its sights on Morocco. From well-informed sources, the group founded in 1998 by David Fattal, owner of the Leonardo, U Hotels, Nyx, Herods and Juris Inn brands, intends to expand its hotel chain by acquiring around ten hotels in Morocco, reports Challenge.
The Moroccan hotels in the sights of the Fattal group are not yet known, but the sources confirm that the Israeli giant, taking advantage of Morocco’s tourism potential and its ability to recover from the health crisis that has severely affected the sector, plans to make massive investments to establish itself in the kingdom and on the southern Mediterranean shore where it had no foothold.
Fattal Hotel Group is present in 106 cities in 19 countries and has more than two hundred hotel units with 42,000 rooms and employing 12,000 people. With a capital of around 1.32 billion euros (more than 14 billion dirhams), Fattal Hotel Group achieved a turnover of 486 million euros (nearly 5.3 billion dirhams) in 2020 and has been listed on the Tel Aviv stock exchange for 3 years.
