Israeli Foreign Minister to Inaugurate New Diplomatic Mission in Morocco

Yaïr Lapid, the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs, will visit Morocco in early August where he will proceed to the inauguration of the new Israeli diplomatic mission in Rabat. This official visit follows a telephone conversation between the head of Israeli diplomacy and his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita.
The Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yaïr Lapid, should visit Morocco in early August to inaugurate the new Israeli diplomatic mission in Rabat, reports the American news site, Axios. Israel has finally found premises to house its diplomatic delegation. The two parties are in "negotiations" to transform their liaison offices "into full-fledged embassies".
On Friday, the head of Israeli diplomacy and his Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita had a telephone conversation and agreed on this visit. According to Israeli sources, the visit should take place on August 10 or 11. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad will also visit Israel very soon for an official visit. Yaïr Lapid invited him through the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Alon Ushpiz, who met Nasser Bourita in Rabat.
