Israel Warns Citizens to Avoid Egypt and Middle East Travel, Deems Morocco Safe

Morocco remains a safe country where Israelis can travel and stay or even live in complete security. This is not the case for the countries of the Middle East and Egypt, which Israel calls on its citizens to avoid.
After the deadly shooting that occurred on Sunday in Egypt, the National Security Council (CNS) calls on Israelis who are in the Sinai in particular, and in Egypt in general, "to shorten their stay" and leave the country "as soon as possible". The CNS also urges Israelis to avoid traveling to Middle Eastern countries and other countries subject to travel warnings, according to a statement published on its website. These countries number 198. They are classified in the "threat level" category ranging from 1 (take basic precautions) to 4 (travel prohibited, please leave the country immediately). Morocco remains in green. The kingdom therefore remains a safe place for Israelis.
On Sunday, two Israeli tourists and their Egyptian guide were killed by a policeman in Alexandria, on the Egyptian coast. "A policeman fired blindly with his personal weapon at a group of Israeli tourists in Alexandria (north)," confirms the television channel Extra news, close to the Egyptian security apparatus, specifying that two tourists were killed, one injured, as well as an Egyptian, and the policeman was arrested. This rare attack comes in the midst of a war between two of Egypt’s neighbors, Israel and the Gaza Strip.
