Investigation Launched After Man Claims Double COVID Vaccine Dose in Morocco

An individual has declared on social media that he received two doses of the anti-Covid vaccine at once in a vaccination center in Chichaoua. An investigation has been opened to elucidate the details of this case and establish the legal consequences that follow.
In a statement, the provincial prefecture confirmed the information and announced the opening of the investigation. According to the health authorities, the two doses are supposed to be injected in two injections a few weeks apart.
Since the launch of the campaign on January 29, several cases of fraud have been recorded. The perpetrators were arrested and sanctioned immediately. On January 31, 8 non-priority people were vaccinated at the "Anoual" vaccination center in Taza, contrary to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health. A few days later, it was a peace commander who benefited from the dose in Berrechid. He was given a temporary suspension of work.
In Dchira El Jihadia, not far from Agadir, it was a young woman who was arrested. She received her mother’s dose using her ID card.
