Interpol Fugitive Arrested in Morocco: Norwegian Man Wanted for Vehicle Theft in Spain

A Norwegian of Iraqi origin was arrested by the elements of the Nador Security District. He was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the Spanish judicial authorities in a theft case.
The 40-year-old suspect was arrested at the Bni Ansar port as he was about to board a ferry to France. But during the check, it was noticed that he was the subject of a red notice issued by the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), following his involvement in a case of theft of a 4x4 vehicle.
The suspect was placed in custody on the orders of the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office, and a notification was sent to the competent Spanish authorities, according to the press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
