International Car Theft Ring Exposed: European Luxury Vehicles Found in Morocco

An investigation has been opened by the Moroccan security services, in coordination with Interpol, on an international network specializing in the trafficking of cars stolen in Europe.
Dozens of vehicles, originating from Belgium, France and Spain, and whose documents and license plates have been falsified, were stolen between 2018 and 2019, according to the Interpol report.
Luxury cars, the theft of which has been reported in Europe, have thus been shipped to Morocco via the Sebta border post, reports the Spanish press, which is concerned about the increasingly large number of these thefts.
Stolen in Europe, these vehicles are generally dismantled in Morocco before being easily resold on the local market by mechanics.
