Inter Milan’s Achraf Hakimi Tests Negative for COVID-19, May Return to Champions League

Achraf Hakimi is no longer positive for coronavirus. The Moroccan international has undergone new tests and seems to be cured, announced his club Inter Milan.
Inter Milan announces in a press release that Achraf Hakimi tested negative for the sample taken on Thursday by UEFA, the European football governing body, before the match against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The same statement specifies that the Moroccan international underwent an additional sample on Friday. The team will be able to assess the player’s actual situation after the results.
This contamination of Hakimi did not allow him to make his first steps in the Champions League with Inter, on Wednesday against Borussia Moenchengladbach. Recall that at the end of this duel, there was a tie between the two teams (2-2).
