India Approves Export of 6 Million Hydroxychloroquine Tablets to Morocco Amid Pandemic

The Indian government has approved the export of a batch of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) to Morocco. The export license has been issued to the Ministry of Health for a quantity of 6 million Hydroxychloroquine Sulfate tablets manufactured by the Indian company, IPCA Laboratories Pvt.
The first delivery was supposed to arrive in Morocco this Sunday. For the Moroccan government, this decision is once again a testament to the excellent relations between India and the kingdom.
To recall, India and Morocco signed, in December 2017, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the health sector. Thus, a Joint Working Group, created in this framework, met in July 2018 in New Delhi.
It should be noted that India, since the beginning of the pandemic, has sent medicines and medical equipment to more than 130 countries in the world.
