India Approves AstraZeneca Vaccine Shipment to Morocco and 24 Other Nations

India has just authorized 25 countries, including Morocco, to receive a next batch of 24 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccines. This is the second vaccine delivery after the first receipt of 2,000,000 doses.
The Indian authorities have just granted their authorization for the shipment of a batch of 24 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to 25 countries, including Morocco. The kingdom should therefore receive its second delivery of the vaccine in the very near future.
Among these 25 countries authorized by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs to receive these doses of the vaccine in February, there are Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicaragua, Mauritius, the Philippines, Serbia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
According to the local press, these countries will receive a larger quantity this month than in January. In total, India had provided 16.7 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines to 20 countries during the first delivery. While 6.3 million doses had been delivered free of charge to 13 countries including Bangladesh, Myanmar, Bhutan, Nepal, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bahrain and Oman, Barbados and Dominica, 10 million had been shipped on a commercial basis to seven countries, including Brazil, Morocco and South Africa.
