Imprisoned Moroccan Surgeon’s Family Pleads for Royal Pardon Amid Trafficking Charges

The family of the famous plastic surgeon Dr. Hassan Tazi, owner of the Chifaa clinic, imprisoned in the Oukacha prison for, among other things, human trafficking and abuse of weakness, is asking for the pardon of King Mohammed VI.
In a video posted on the official Facebook page of the famous plastic surgeon Hassan Tazi, his son is seen in tears saying that his family is going through a major crisis since the death of his brother in 2020 and the arrest of his father and mother, Mounia, as well as his uncle Abderrazak. "I can no longer bear this situation. I can no longer go to school and my sisters are sick," he said, imploring the royal pardon for their release.
After the judicial vacations, the investigating judge of the Court of Appeal of Casablanca decided to reopen the Tazi case. A confrontation is scheduled for September 15 between Dr. Tazi, plastic surgeon, his wife, his brother, the intermediary in charge of collecting donations, Zainab. B, and an employee of the clinic. The accused are being prosecuted for "human trafficking, fraud and document forgery".
