Île-de-France Region Donates 42,000 Masks to Muslim Leaders for COVID-19 Response

Valérie Pécresse, President of the Île-de-France region, has offered masks to imams and chaplains in Île-de-France. This donation is part of the fight against the spread of covid-19.

In a press release, the French Council of the Muslim Faith (CFCM) indicated that the President of the Île-de-France region, Valérie Pécresse, has made 42,000 masks available to the imams and chaplains of Île-de-France. These masks are mainly intended for those on the front lines, at the bedside of covid-19 patients and their families. They will also be used for the burials of victims.

This donation from the President is a gesture of the heart and participates in the fight against the coronavirus. Very sensitive to this gesture, the CFCM and its various branches in the Île-de-France region have expressed their gratitude to Valérie Pécresse, as specified in the CFCM press release signed by its president, Mohammed Moussaoui.
