Iberia Resumes Flights to Morocco, Expands Winter Schedule to 75 Destinations

The airline Iberia is offering flights to more than 75 destinations in 30 countries in Europe, America and Africa, including Morocco, between October and December.
Flights will thus be operated from Madrid to Casablanca from December 3, reports Air journal. In total, nearly 700 direct round-trip flights will be operated by the Spanish airline from the Iberia hub at Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suarez airport, which represents about 40% of the capacity for the same period in 2019.
The winter flight schedule "is designed to facilitate same-day round-trip travel for business travelers between the main Spanish and European destinations," Iberia said in a statement, noting that flight frequencies remain lower due to the health crisis. On 80% of domestic routes and the 32% most frequented European routes (9 routes will be operated to France), there will be at least two round-trips per day, it is specified.
"At Iberia, we firmly believe that recovery is possible and we plan to play our part. We look forward to helping our customers reactivate their activities, and to this end, we are returning this season with more flights, more destinations and all the services our customers expect from us. Airlines are proving that health and safety, which remain our absolute priority, are perfectly compatible with the connectivity and services that improve the air travel experience, while also helping to stimulate economic activity," said Javier Sánchez-Prieto, executive chairman of the Iberia group.
