Heatwave Grips Morocco as Ramadan Ends, Temperatures Soar Above 40°C

The last days of Ramadan will be more difficult for Moroccans who will have to face the heatwave at least until next Thursday, warns the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN).
According to DMN, temperatures will rise sharply today and this situation should last at least until Thursday. Thus, it will not be uncommon to see the thermometer rise to more than 40 degrees in several regions, particularly in the cities of the south of the country and some in the southwest of Morocco, explains the director of communication at the national weather department, Houcine Yoabd, to the site le360.
More temperate temperatures, although, are expected in the coastal cities where between 25 and 30 degrees are expected. This will also be the case in the Atlas Mountains, it is specified.
Warmer weather is expected in the Saiss and the Loukouss with temperatures between 31 and 36 degrees from this Tuesday until Thursday.
