Health Ministry to Reimburse Flu Vaccine for Insured Moroccans

Compulsory Health Insurance plans to reimburse the flu vaccine to its policyholders. This is what the Ministry of Health has decided.
In a press release, the Ministry of Health assured that this measure could facilitate access to the quadrivalent vaccine against seasonal flu to the beneficiaries and policyholders of the AMO in order to fight against the spread of seasonal flu.
Vaxigripp is sold on prescription in pharmacies at a price of 125 dirhams. While pharmacists warn of an impending vaccine shortage, the Ministry of Health reassures and supports securing stocks in order to favor the at-risk population during this vaccination campaign launched on Monday, November 2.
In detail, nearly 600,000 doses of vaccine have been acquired by the Ministry of Health, including 300,000 for private medical practices.
