Gulf Tourist Arrested After Burning Passport at Marrakech Airport

While he arrived at Marrakech-Menara International Airport to take a flight, a young man from a Gulf country burned his passport to the surprise of travelers and police.
He will not return home by plane as planned. Upon arrival at Marrakech-Menara International Airport, a young man from a Gulf country burned his passport in front of travelers and police, reports Aujourd’hui Le Maroc. Immediately, the law enforcement officers arrested him. During his interrogation, they noticed that he suffers from psychological disorders. The Public Prosecutor’s Office near the Court of Appeal in Marrakech instructed the investigators to have him interned at the Ibn Nafis psychiatric hospital.
The young man often visits one of the charlatans in Marrakech and participates in Roqya Charia sessions, an exorcism intended to drive out jinns.
