Grammy-Winning Moroccan Producer RedOne Joins FIFA as Entertainment Chief

Moroccan producer RedOne is now the Executive Director of Entertainment for the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). The governing body of world football announced the news on Sunday, on the sidelines of the Arab Cup final.
A multiple Grammy Award winner, the Moroccan is officially a member of FIFA’s management team as Executive Director of Entertainment. The organization posted on social media a photo of RedOne with FIFA President Gianni Infantino, accompanied by the following caption: "Joining forces, delivering innovative entertainment to fans: we share the vision of making football truly global."

The FIFA Arab Cup was held in Qatar from November 30 to December 18. The final, which took place on Sunday, December 19, crowned the victory of Algeria over Tunisia (2-0). The same city will host the World Cup in a year, which will be held between November 21 and December 18, 2022.
