Glory Lightweight Title Bout: Khbabez Challenges Champion Abena in Rotterdam Showdown

On June 17, Donegi Abena will defend his Glory lightweight champion title at the Collision 5 event at the Rotterdam Ahoy. And it is Tarik Khbabez who will be his challenger.
At 31 years old, "The Tank", a fighter under the Moroccan flag, will have the opportunity to win the Glory lightweight champion belt against Abena, a young 25-year-old fighter who had won the title in February by beating Sergei Maslobojev by TKO.
Khbabez had lost last year against Maslobojev after a split jury decision, leaving the Moroccan fighter unsatisfied and angry. He then took his revenge in March by winning a resounding victory against Daniel Toledo by TKO.
In parallel, the Collision 5 event will also see the heavyweights Antonio Plazibat and Tariq Osaro face off for the title, with a fight against Rico Verhoeven for the heavyweight title at stake. Donovan Wisse will also defend his champion belt in the middleweight category against Serkan Ozcaglayan.
