Global Risk Assessment Ranks Morocco as ’Medium Risk’ for Travelers in 2023

Morocco is among the medium risk countries to visit in 2023. This emerges from the annual global risk assessment report unveiled by Global Guardian.
Based on risk ratings and geopolitical conflict zones around the world, this travel risk specialist assesses escalation prospects and their possible impacts, classifying countries into "extreme", "high", "medium", "moderate" and "low" risk categories. It also identifies certain locations as presenting "geopolitical risk", including cold or hot conflicts.
Thus, on its latest map, Global Guardian has classified Morocco on the list of medium risk countries, alongside Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey and Thailand. However, the United Kingdom does not currently advise against traveling to its destinations, and tourists often visit without any problems.
Meanwhile, the countries revealed to be at "extreme risk" are: Ukraine, Pakistan, Libya, Syria, Somalia, Yemen, Afghanistan, the Central African Republic and Burkina Faso. Some of the safest countries to visit are Germany, Poland, Norway, the Republic of Ireland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Japan and Canada, according to the report.
