Germany Adds Morocco and 18 Other Nations to COVID-19 High-Risk List

Morocco is one of the 19 countries that Germany has decided to classify as a "high-risk area", starting this Sunday, January 23, 2022, due to the increase in coronavirus infection figures.
As of Sunday, January 23, the following 19 countries: Algeria, Bhutan, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Maldives, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Paraguay, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and Uzbekistan will be classified as "high-risk Covid-19 infection areas" by Germany. In total, 145 countries (including the 19 added) are on the complete list of countries classified as "high-risk areas".
Germany has consequently imposed health restrictions on people - except commuters and truck drivers - who have been to one of these countries ten days before or arrive from one of these countries before entering German territory. These people must first register on the website https://www.einreiseanmeldung.de/#/. They will receive a confirmation that they will have to present at the border. Also, they must present a negative test (antigen or PCR), a Covid-19 vaccination certificate showing that they have received at least two injections or proof of their status as recently recovered from the new coronavirus. They must download the certificates they bring on the registration website. The confirmation they receive will contain a download link.
Persons entering Germany from countries classified as "high-risk areas" must generally quarantine for 10 days, it is specified. This period can be shortened when the persons concerned download negative test certificates, vaccination certificates or documents proving that they have recently recovered on the mentioned website. Those who do so before arriving in Germany will not be quarantined.
As for people arriving from "virus variant areas", they must quarantine for 14 days, it is also written.
