German Police Arrest Suspected Islamist Extremists in Anti-Terror Raids

The German police have just arrested in Frankfurt two Germans of Moroccan origin, a man and a woman, suspected of preparing a terrorist act. No act was yet planned. They would be extremists and they would be planning an attack, are the only data revealed so far.
The Attorney General said the authorities believed the suspects were in the initial planning phase of an attack in Germany. "We still do not know of any specific target for an attack that would have been planned," she said, according to Euronews.
This Moroccan couple, suspected of being Islamist extremists preparing an attack, were arrested as part of a series of 12 home searches of 12 other suspects.
The two suspects would both be 26 years old and would have dual nationality, German and Moroccan. In 2016, they would have tried to travel with their children to Syria to join the extremists of the Islamic State organization, but they would have been arrested in Turkey and deported to Germany.
