A German medical student (in her second year) has just traveled from Hanover, Germany, to Agadir, in the south of the Kingdom of Morocco, by bicycle, in 1.5 months. She covered exactly 5,134 kilometers.

Venus Svea, a young second-year medical student at the University of Hanover, has just made the trip between this city and Agadir, via Portugal, by bicycle, in 1.5 months. She started her journey on May 5, 2019.

From Tangier, she passed through Larache, Kenitra, Rabat, Casablanca, El Jadida, Safi, Essaouira and Marrakech, before finally arriving in Agadir, according to information from the media Leseco.ma. She said: "The travel of escape has always intrigued me in order to fight prejudices and bring together different cultures".

She would have, in her approach, wanted to prove that Muslim countries were not dangerous and that they enjoyed security, according to the same media. Venus Svea declared in this sense: "My perception of Morocco has changed a lot, I have experienced Moroccan hospitality and I have managed to forge bonds of friendship in this beautiful safe country, to travel".

In addition, she would like, after her studies, to embark on the humanitarian field.
