German Foreign Minister Visits Morocco to Strengthen Diplomatic Ties

As part of Moroccan-German cooperation, the Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, Annalena Baerbock, is making a two-day working visit to Morocco.
It is at the head of a large delegation composed of journalists, diplomats and parliamentarians that Minister Annalena Baerbock is making this visit to Morocco, on August 24 and 25. According to well-informed sources, the purpose of this visit is to further strengthen the Rabat-Berlin axis, which has experienced some diplomatic inconveniences.
It will also allow the resumption of relations in several areas such as the economy, migration, renewable energies, education, etc. "A visit that follows the videoconference meeting held in February between Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and Annalena Baerbock, the German Foreign Minister."
A joint press conference will be given this Thursday by Annalena Baerbock and Nasser Bourita at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad in Rabat. Relations between Morocco seem to be calming down, as shown by the speech of King Mohammed VI, who had classified Germany in the category of "friendly nations" with which it is now necessary to establish relations of trust and strengthen a quality partnership.
