A gem turns its back on Belgium and chooses Morocco
Belgium loses one of its greatest hopes. The talent of Ajax Amsterdam, Rayane Bounida, has officially informed the Belgian federation of his decision to represent the Moroccan national team rather than the Red Devils.
The governing body has taken note of this choice, the 20-year-old player having firmly indicated that "his heart beats for Morocco". The federation regrets this decision but respects it, remaining faithful to its strict policy: refusing any financial bidding war or sporting guarantee.
