Belgium and Morocco Compete for Young Soccer Star Chemsdine Talbi

The Belgian Football Federation and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) are vying for Chemsdine Talbi, the Moroccan prodigy of Club Bruges. The two rival federations are competing with initiatives to recruit the young talent as soon as possible.
According to Win Win, the new coach of the Red Devils, Rudi Garcia, in search of a talent to strengthen the offensive block of the Belgian team, would have set his sights on Talbi and would like to integrate him into the squad as early as the next gathering in March. The French coach would have asked the leaders of the Belgian Football Federation to enter into negotiations with the Moroccan prodigy of Club Bruges to convince him to join the Red Devils, to the detriment of the Atlas Lions.
The same source informs that Garcia has requested a closed-door meeting with Talbi to lead the 19-year-old talent not to succumb to the proposal of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), and above all, to the pressure of the Moroccan coach Walid Regragui who has been active for more than a year to convince the Club Bruges striker to defend the colors of his country of origin.
In a recent statement, Talbi indicated that he has not yet made a definitive decision about his sporting nationality, leaving the doubt about his choice between Belgium and Morocco. Meanwhile, the former Al-Nassr coach and the Belgian Federation are multiplying exchanges with the player to steal the show from the Moroccan federation.
Chemsdine Talbi is performing well at Club Bruges. In 30 games in all competitions, the Moroccan prodigy has contributed to the rise of his club, with nine goals, including five in the league, and assists. The young striker has already played in the Belgian youth categories. He notably participated in the match with the Belgian U18s against Croatia (0-0) in March 2023.
