Funeral Set for Teen Killed in Post-World Cup Match Incident in Montpellier

The burial of Aymen, the 14-year-old boy hit and killed by a runaway car on Wednesday evening, rue de Barcelone, Cité de la Mosson, after the Morocco-France match, will take place at the Grammont funeral home.
Hit by a car on the evening of the Bleus’ victory over the Atlas Lions in the 2022 Qatar World Cup semi-final, Aymen will be buried at the Grammont funeral home at 3pm, after the funeral prayer Salât al-janaza at the Great Mosque of La Paillade, reports Actu.fr. The family received the teenager’s body after the autopsy performed at the Montpellier forensic institute. The initial findings reveal that Aymen’s death "was due to massive internal bleeding".
The driver of the vehicle that fatally mowed down the teenager is a man "from the gypsy community," the Hérault prefecture said. He is still actively being sought by the Hérault departmental security service, in charge of the investigation for "aggravated fatal blows with a weapon by destination, in this case the car".
