French Tourist Killed by Stray Dogs in Morocco’s Dakhla Region

A French tourist died after an attack by stray dogs in El Argoub, in the Dakhla region.
According to the local authorities of Oued-Eddahab, a 44-year-old French tourist had joined Dakhla, then El Argoub, on Tuesday, August 16. She was staying at a hotel establishment. As the woman in her forties left her hotel to go for a walk, she was attacked by a pack of stray dogs. She succumbed to her injuries. Following her death, the Royal Gendarmerie is conducting an investigation.
Stray dogs are causing panic in several cities of the kingdom. Several deputies had in the meantime called on the government to take measures to fight the problem of stray dogs that persists to the great dismay of Moroccans but also of foreigners.
