French Secretary of State Sarah El Haïry Comes Out as LGBTQ+ in Forbes Interview

The Franco-Moroccan Sarah El Haïry, Secretary of State for Youth and Universal National Service with the Minister of the Armed Forces and the Minister of National Education, has just come out.
In an interview with Forbes published on Friday, Sarah El Haïry, in response to a question about the criticism or insults she may face on social networks, came out. "I try not to read, because I know that Twitter is not real life. But when my family or my partner are affected, yes, it hurts me. But I made this choice of public action," said the 34-year-old Secretary of State, the youngest member of Elisabeth Borne’s government.
On the web, Sarah El Haïry is described as the first female politician to come out. Mélanie Vogel, the current senator for French citizens abroad in the EELV group, who is openly lesbian, did not fail to react. "The first minister to come out in France yes, the first female politician you should think about not pushing," she points out on Twitter.
A few days earlier, it was the Minister of Labor Olivier Dussopt, the bearer of the pension reform, who had made his coming out in an interview with the magazine Têtu.
