French Schools in Morocco Delay Reopening for Student Vaccinations

The establishments of the French school network in Morocco have decided, on the instructions of the Ministry of National Education, to postpone the start of the school year to Friday, September 10, 2021, in order to allow students aged 12-17 to receive their dose of Covid-19 vaccination.
The notification was sent to some parents yesterday, Saturday, while others learned about it on social media, through a message from the French Embassy. Initially scheduled for September 3, the start of the school year had been postponed to September 6 by the French establishments in Morocco.
This new postponement was granted following a request made by the Moroccan authorities. However, so far, on the networks and websites of the Ministry of National Education, no information has been published on this postponement.
