French School in Morocco Sparks Outrage Over Outdated Map Excluding Western Sahara

While the United States has recognized the Moroccanness of the Sahara and unveiled the official map of Morocco integrating the Sahara, French high schools continue to use the old map.
The Louis Massignon International French High School in Bouskoura, in the Casablanca region, calls into question the territorial integrity of Morocco. The establishment uses a map of the kingdom amputated of the Sahara. It presents a map of Morocco excluding the southern provinces of the country and separating them by a strip from the other Moroccan regions. This has triggered negative reactions and discontent from parents. On the web, many Moroccan Internet users have condemned what they consider to be "ongoing hostile acts by France against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Morocco over its southern provinces of Western Sahara".
Before the Louis Massignon High School in Bouskoura, other schools such as the Descartes High Schools in Rabat and Paul Valéry in Meknes, which are part of the French mission in Morocco, have used the map of Morocco without the Sahara.
